VBC Music & Dining Venue

A sleek and bold intervention into downtown Huntsville’s cultural core, this new Music and Dining Venue for Huntsville’s Von Braun Center is expected to open in the Fall of 2019.  With a capacity of 1,200 patrons in a standing room only configuration, this new music hall is expected to bring another tier of acts and performances to North Alabama which previously had no appropriately sized venue in this market.  Although the VBC already has 7,000 seat Propst Arena to accommodate larger concert crowds, and 1,800 seat Mark C. Smith Concert Hall for fixed seating events, promoters have often requested a venue of this configuration in the Huntsville market for their up and coming acts currently playing the club circuit.  The music hall features a fixed stage with sound and lights, as well as a mezzanine level for VIP experiences.  Within the performance area, there are multiple bars so those in attendance needn’t miss out on any of the performance to wait in line for beverages. In addition to the music hall, the project also features a large full service restaurant with a rooftop bar to provide pre-function food service to those attending VBC events, and also offers a new dining option for the public on the western edge of downtown.  The facility is also expected to be available as a rental space to support the activities of many local organizations, or for private functions.
