Currently under construction in Huntsville, Alabama, this 8000 square foot home is expected to be complete in the Spring of 2012. Blending classical elements with warmer vernacular features, the design of this home is a response to the owners’ wish to have an elegant yet rustic home befitting the unique qualities of the heavily wooded site. Natural stone masonry and split shake siding have been selected to blend with the rocky terrain, while tuscan columns and ornate rafter tails provide a formal punch to the home.
